One of my new years resolutions this year was to start a blog. Check! (and tell people about it, so people read it other than me). I've actually been wanting to start one for quite awhile but knew I needed a topic to focus on, otherwise I'd be all over the place. So my other resolution this year is to run a marathon. So I figured what better way to keep myself on track as well as fulfill the "Start a blog" resolution than to blog about my experience training towards said marathon, and to blog about running in general. To date, I have run 3 half marathons and a couple 10K's. In the past I've had a few injuries and consider myself fairly injury prone. So, if I suck at running this year, as I have in the past, due to injuries, then my other resolution is to run a 5K, just because it's a distance I've never raced before.
A photography blog has also been an interest of mine. A friend of mine suggested photography during running. Hmmm, there's a thought, I might keep the photography separate from running or combine then. I assume my blog content will be a lot of running if I'm training, unless I really suck at running this year, as discussed above and then it'll be photography and life. Cheers!
